After 3 days of not getting out of bed (except for a quick trip to the pharmacy) I am on the road to recovery no thanks to the crack cocaine that I was sold at the pharmacy on Sunday. Maybe I got a placebo or maybe my specific package was manufactured in some crazy factory in China.

Being sick in a foreign country sucks because even though France is renowned for its healthcare system if you can barely speak the language it makes it a little difficult to get the care you need. Oh and you never know if the pharmacists is selling you Tylenol or crack cocaine.
Lastly, before I fell ill I purchased some pretty daffodils from a cute florist. I suspect the flowers had more to do with my improved health than all the meds that I have taken.

My experience exactly. Luckily, by mother-in-law sends us bottles and bottles of medicine (Tylenol, Advil Cold & Sinus, Excedrin, etc) through the mail.
Is that legal?
Claradol is a brand name for paracetamol, which is the same as Tylenol.
Oh gee!! Now I am sick, too!! I have a cold and feeling very UNDER the weather.. I think I caught it the on Tues. when we woke up early to go to the sous prefecteur to renew my CDS for this year.. We took a 30 minute walk in the Parc de Sceaux and it was cold, windy and rainy... UGGH!!! Maybe we can see a movie next week when we are feeling better.. Get well soon and I think the flowers DO help!! Drink hot lemon juice (fresh) and honey.. It good!!! --Leesa
Hi Ken, I suspected as such but it's so much funnier thinking that the pharmacist potentially sold me something totally unrelated to pain.
Leesa, sorry to hear you're feeling under the weather now get better soon. Movie next week sounds good but I read some disturbing news about the theater at Odeon on one of the Paris blogs.
